{"id":3060,"date":"2025-12-11T11:03:51","date_gmt":"2025-12-11T15:03:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wwwcp.umes.edu\/hr\/?p=3060"},"modified":"2025-12-11T11:03:52","modified_gmt":"2025-12-11T15:03:52","slug":"student-figure-model","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wwwcp.umes.edu\/hr\/student-figure-model\/","title":{"rendered":"Student Figure Model"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Fine Arts Department<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Spring, 2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><u><mark>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<\/mark><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022&nbsp;Pose for fine arts studio classes: Anatomy for Artists, Drawing, occasionally, painting and other courses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022&nbsp;Be able to provide a full range of traditional life drawing poses, from gestures to sustained poses, as required by tradition and the instructor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022&nbsp;Demonstrate the flexibility and animation of the human form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022&nbsp;Provide traditional gestures and poses as well as anatomical studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022&nbsp;The model poses partially clothed or without clothing in most instances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022&nbsp;Ability to demonstrated understanding of the rules and decorum of modeling for art classes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><u><mark>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS<\/mark><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022&nbsp;Be physically able to provide a full range of body gestures and poses, from quick gestures to long, sustained poses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022&nbsp;Be able to hold sustained poses without moving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><mark><u>HOURLY RATE:<\/u> <\/mark>$<\/strong>15.00 per hour<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><u><mark>HOURS OF WORK<\/mark><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Work schedule will be determined by the supervisor and as suits the needs of the various classes in the Department of Fine Art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><u><mark>Application Process: Position is open until filled.<\/mark> <\/u><\/strong>Interested students must complete an application by following the <strong>steps below.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please visit www.umes.edu\/hr<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1.
