Ensure you check in with the Designated School Official (DSO) when you arrive. 410-651-7966.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Read all the e-mails from the Graduate School completely and ask questions if they don\u2019t make sense.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Keep your addresses and phone numbers current in Hawkweb<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Set up voicemail on your phone.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">U.S. immigration regulations can be confusing\u2014but we are here to help!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Immigration Information and Workshops<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our DSO closely monitors the changing immigration regulations. We want to make sure you understand your responsibilities and have a successful college experience at Indiana University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We also organize immigration workshops with an immigration attorney to provide useful and relevant immigration counsel and advise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Recently, the U.S. government has made it extremely difficult for us to help students when they violate their immigration status.
