World Language and Culture Tables
The Centers for Foreign Language Instruction (FLIC) and International Education (CIE) host the “World Language & Culture Tables” series every semester at the Center for International Education! This series introduces UMES students to a variety of world languages, including Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Arabic, Portuguese, Hindi, French, and Spanish, providing a fun and interactive way to explore different languages and cultures.
Each session is led by a UMES language instructor and takes place in a relaxed, small group setting. Students can practice everyday language expressions. They also learn about the cultural traditions and histories of the featured countries.
