A pre-enrollment block can prevent a student from enrolling into future courses.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/details><\/div>\n\n\n\n All checks or money orders should be payable to University of Maryland Eastern Shore or UMES. Payment plans are handled through TouchNet. If your credit card was declined at the time of submission, check the account number to confirm the information was entered correctly. Otherwise, a decline means that funds were insufficient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you are using a check\/debit card and the card was declined, you may want to call your bank to verify the daily limit set by the bank.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/details><\/div>\n\n\n\n If you do not pay your account balance by the due date, you may be dis-enrolled from your classes and lose eligibility for other services, such as receipt of diplomas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Per State of Maryland regulations, unpaid accounts are generally considered delinquent at 90 days past due. At that time, an unpaid account is eligible for transfer to the State of Maryland Central Collection Unit.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/details><\/div>\n\n\n\n Once a balance has been transferred to the State Central Collections Unit, a collections fee of 17% is added to the total amount transferred. SCCU also reports all transferred balances to the major credit bureaus.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/details><\/div>\n\n\n\n Your account must be paid in full before you can register for classes or receive a diploma.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/details><\/div>\n\n\n\n Cash App is NOT an accepted form of payment.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Chime is accepted, but be aware that payments made by Chime are NOT immediately withdrawn from your Chime account.
