Working primarily in painting, she explores the figure, using&nbsp;drawing and sculptural approaches to expand the language of representation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Rose earned her BFA in Painting from The Ohio State University and her MFA from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University.&nbsp;She is the recipient of a Teaching Fellowship&nbsp;at Tufts University, where she researched the pedagogy in contemporary painting practices. Her recent exhibition,&nbsp;<em>Pulling Teeth and Jumping Rope<\/em>, curated by Dani Shen of the Harvard Carpenter Center for the Visual Arts, was featured as part of SMFA\u2019s MFA Thesis Show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rose\u2019s work has been exhibited internationally at the CICA Museum&nbsp;in South Korea and nationally in venues such as the Roy G. Biv Gallery&nbsp;and Urban Arts Space.
