Previously, he was the Chair of the Department of Fine Arts for eleven years, where he has been a dedicated faculty member since 1997. Harrington holds a Psychology undergraduate degree from Binghamton University, an MA and an Ed.M. in Art Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, and an M.F.A. from the Maryland Institute College of Art&#8217;s Hoffberger School of Painting. His artistic work has been exhibited at prestigious national and international venues including the Hunter Museum of American Art in Chattanooga, Tennessee, the Contemporary Artists Center in North Adams, Massachusetts, and the\u00a0<em>International Juried Affordable Art Fair<\/em>,London, England. Additionally, he garnered the highest honors for his work at the Period Gallery in Omaha, Nebraska. Since 2002, Harrington has presented five one-man exhibitions in New York City.
