Information for Transfer Students<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A student who has attended any accredited institution of higher education will be considered a transfer student. Applicants must apply, have at least a 2.0 GPA and 27 credits or more to be considered a transfer student, and submit the non-refundable, designated fees (application fee and enrollment deposit). For students who have completed 27 or fewer credits are required to also submit an official high school transcript, which must <\/u>be sent directly from the school to complete the application process. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

TRANSFER CREDIT INFORMATION:<\/summary>

Our office of the Registrar has begun an initiative to better help with your transition to UMES.\u00a0Students who\u00a0have not<\/u>\u00a0applied, and\/or not have committed to UMES\u00a0(selected enroll and paid the enrollment deposit), can request a\u00a0preliminary credit evaluation<\/a><\/u>. If you want a credit evaluation prior to selecting enroll and paying your enrollment deposit, this will help you determine what credits will transfer to UMES prior to committing to the university.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
